Prezi

Prezi
Prezi is a “cloud based presentation software” unlike powerpoint prezi is just one big slide that is a zoomable canvas which is a screen where the camera in the computer will zoom in and shows what information the creator of the presentation wanted to show at that point. You have a predetermined path that the screen will go to show the different pictures and information during the presentation after each click. The zoomable camera that sends the view of the screen to different parts of the canvas is a great tool that makes the presentation more interesting than a regular slide show.
Prezi can prove very useful for businesses in many ways. Prezi can be used for business especially for finance firms or for high ranking officials in corporations because when they need to work on a project they can create a presentation that is informative yet interesting on how well the project is going. Prezi allows workers in finance part of businesses because they are able to create a presentation that shows the financial statements of the business they work for and all of the demographics of their target group for their products and show the numbers of net income or net loss and in what areas in the nation are they receiving most revenue.
Prezi can not really be used much for a social purpose really other than using the feature of prezi online to collaborate with others, such as coworkers or classmates that you have to work on a project for.
Prezi can be used for an entertainment and recreational purpose only in that it can be a more creative way to create a presentation than powerpoint. Also that it can tell more of a entertaining story if you are doing a school presentation than if you used powerpoint.
Prezi can be used as a source of news by you being able to look at all different presentations that have been created by other users and you are able to reuse those prezi presentations as part of yours or to inspire you about yours.
